Digital X-Ray
X-ray images are produced and seen quickly. Copies of these images can be given to the patient (copied to a CD, email attachment, etc.).
Skeletal x-rays are acquired by utilizing a direct digital x-ray system.
X-rays pass through a patient to
energize a digital scintillator receptor.
This energy is then converted to light. This
light is then captured by the CCD chip
technology. The image data is assimilated by the
system software. The image is displayed on a high
resolution monitor in seconds.
